Ani, I have all of your books except for Ani's Raw Food Asia. You are my role model. I would love to meet you!!! I am 100% strict, hard core vegan and i LOVE raw food. I get so excited when i make raw vegan dishes . Plus, I am almost 14. (I actually get more excited at getting to make your dishes than vegan baking) This recipe sounds and look delicious!!

@redegel1985 SMH. I asked myself the same question. She mentioned using maple syrup (which is never raw) or honey (which is not vegan) as alternative sweeteners. Dates would have been another viable option. I'd also stray from agave nectar, which is high fructose corn syrup on steroids. I understand that Ani is attempting to appeal to a mainstream audience. But she is in Seattle, which is arguably America's most health conscious city.

I bought your book last week and after seeing this video, I decided to make this meal. Tonight I made it and wow, it was just amazing how all the flavors came together. I think I ate one wrap too many though because I feel stuffed, however I don't feel guilty about it. What an absolutely delicious recipe and I look forward to using the rest of the recipes in your book.

is toasted sesame oil raw?? If she said toasted, does it mean that the sesame seed has been heated, therefore making it Not raw??

UGh I want that book! I was actually looking at it at Barnes and Noble today! I'm 1/2 Korean and I can't wait to try some of those recipes!
