Cs_Office 3D Skybox (Counter strike: Source)

i used my special flying powers in cs:s (aka noclip) to find the 3D skybox in cs_office. every map has one of these not all of them are straight above some are to the side can you find them all? just start a empty server go into the console and enter "sv_cheats 1" then "noclip" (no speach marks "").

Haha the 3d skybox isn't in every map, it's the mappers choice to put it in. The point of using one in a map is it is a smaller scaled down version that gets magnified to where the players are located instead of the crappy 2-d skybox's of cs 1.6. By making 3d skyboxes it saves time and also is more organized for bigger projects, depending on if you you use visgroups. i meant in every map devoloped by valve has a 3d skybox (alltough valve didnt make the maps)

yeah.. but skyboxes pictures are not supposed to be "3d" there 2d

all of the css maps have 3d skyboxes

As a mapper, I can tell you not every map has a 3d skybox, most ametuer maps only have a 2d skybox, and it can be anywhere.

Open the Console and type:

sv_cheats 1

then

noclip 1

If someone's messing around in the skybox and you happen to be looking at that area of the projection, it'll look like there's a giant CT/Terrorist towering over the map like Godzilla.
