Honda Civic vs Toyota Supra

My cousin once owned civic. The civic was producing over 500hp built by Inline Pro. all i gotta say in this video is a win is a win even if you miss a gear. (put up the volume to hear the wonderful spool of the turbo from the civic)speed toping out over 140mph

lol...ok supras are over rated? lol anyway...

first off it wasnt that the supra driver was that bad...it was that he had no HP. supras are slow unless you bolt on a new turbo or turbos. i beet them all day...unless they have any type of turbo upgrade. the supra is awesome because of the stock block strength and its abilty to hold a G in a turn stock. not because it is fast from the factory...

that supra has a single turbo set up pusing a good amount of HP but i forgot how much the supra was pushing but the civic was pushing 500hp at low boost with race fuel.

@krumpinSamoan absolutely... anything can be made fast. and civics can be made fast for peanuts! i ain't disputing that. but c'mon, you ain't gonna be running at le mans with a civic LOL. it wouldn't even post a time half close to the slowest car that didn't even qualify HAHA.

civics... fun street car no doubt! my boy's got a gsr turbo and that car rips. but to be a top dog competitor, the civic should just stick to getting groceries and sip on gas. my opinion...

@hmong337 i have a honda K20a swapped 91 civic coupe boosted at 10 psi. total cost was about 3k. I run 11 seconds. 3k civic beats 40k supra 30k sti whatev u want to spend your money on. its all about how you use your resources :]

civics are good cheap thrills... fast as shit for sure. but will never be a big dog. do they make jgtc cars from civics...?

personally, i have a 92 civic hatch back. it will stay stock forever and be my little toyota prius killer getting 50+mpg =) i believe that is all they were best for.

actually a stock supra turbo is not slow at all, i thought the same thing you did until i got a ride in one, when my brother in law put his foot down it really could move like less then 5 seconds to 0-60, great car!

supras handle good.....just need a good driver here in nz it came 2nd overall in a track challenge which was full of evos sti;s an porches o yea an hondas lol first car was a toyota levin lol a very powerfull one though runs tens in the quarter mile....yup s2000 with 700hp will beat most supras but not all son the 2jz can make power that hondas can only dream off
