JAX laughs at my drumming. He indeed taught himself everything he does by watching live dvd concerts by bands like Rush, Muse, Foo Fighters and copies what the drummers do. Just how he does that is anyones guess.

In that case, can I make a suggestion...Get him an acoustic kit and get him lessons with the best teacher you can afford... (because I have a feeling it will come to a point where the student will pass the teacher)..and do it immediately..Lol. He's a natural!

He already has an acoustic kit.. in fact there's a video of him drumming Foo Fighters pretender on it. For the past 4 months that vid has had 2,000 views.. suddenly this weekend there's 120,000 in 48 hours! A little wild. Lessons and probably a new acoustic kit at some point for sure.

WOW! This child is truly a prodigy. Acoustic drums are hard enough, but to also be able to program syn drums is a real talent. A few dropped beats here and there-but he's playing live. Wish that I were so great.
