im actually in the UW band and i guarantee that we work harder than any band in the big ten (probably the country) and we have more fun while we are doing it. So before you spout off about being unprofessional, come by for our first week of practice and see if you make it through the first three-a-day.

They're heading to the Childrens' Hospital to perform a concert for the kids. At this point they've performed before the game at Union South, the stadium pre-game show, the half-time show and a 45 minute 5th quarter. (As well as playing during the game.)
They are not professionals. Professionals wouldn't tolerate so much weekend after weekend.
