Aviva's new hard hitting national TV advertising campaign to promote awareness among families that while events can be unavoidable, life insurance can make a difference for the families left behind.

  • This is one of the best TV ads I have ever seen. There is no clue what is all this about until the last few seconds, when the girl speaks to the mom.

Its not insensitive. Its so powerful.

  • Made me cry

  • WHAT A FUCKING TONE CHANGE

  • @pixelprime1 - personally I feel this advert is well acted and well thought out. For someone like me it was a powerful reminder that I won't be here forever and having two young kids life insurance is a must. Having lost three close friends in their 30s with kids shows how important this is. I am getting tired of people finding everything offensive! Unfortunately death itself is offensive shame we can't ban that!

  • this just makes me want to cry :'o

  • But they're right! I've seen people left behind with no insurance. Not nice.

  • Wtf... This advert is really weird...

  • @UltimateDalekMaster I'm in the same boat myself. I found this advert crass in its thinly veiled efforts to play the emotion card, and am frankly disgusted. The ASA has already received a vast number of complaints about this advert. I can appreciate that some people argue that it just serves to highlight Life Insurance issues, but the subject matter on offer here is what I find so offensive. There are other ways to sell life insurance without using this kind of subterfuge.

  • @dinozambas7 not at all..the viewer is only shown two parents and one child at that point

  • not very often do you see Paul Whitehouse doing something sad.

  • absolutely love it
