Scott Johnson was cool enough to let me get a close-up video of the DL tracking their opener before the DCI East Coast Classic in Lawrence, MA. Sweet beats. Thank you ScoJo!!

  • Whenever there is a 4 person quadline, who is section leader? Center Left or center right? (assuming we're looking at them)

  • @famguy619 It varies, among lines I've seen it's a 50/50 split between left/right, but could be different depending on who you've seen. In this case of BD, I would think Scott Nelson (far right tenor) was actually the tenor "section leader" being a BD vet/I&E champ in this particular line, but I guess they switched their spots around based on preference. All four of them have godly playing ability though... I'd consider them more of a team than a section with a leader, haha.

  • @NateGomes Pretty sure it's center right. Nick Arce, I think. I saw his I&E

  • @clarkferry You're right haha, literally the day after I posted that reply I saw a lot vid where someone confirmed that Nick was section leader =P

  • a girl on the tenors wtf?? first time i see that niceee

  • @CruelYogi Huh? The tenors are definitely all guys... unless you meant the girl on snare... lol

  • @famguy619 when they're in an arc warming up or stuff like that it's the person splitting center closest to the snares and in drill it changes a lot cuz i play snare and i'm not center but at some points in my show i was in the center.

  • I have never seen a kitchen with soccer goals in it. Why would you put soccer goals in a kitchen?

  • @NateGomes yeah its nick. and this year hes snare section leader. scott is section leader for 2012 tho

  • why does the girl have a different cover on her drum?

  • Sco Jo? Thats pretty good

  • How come 2 snares have different covers?

  • BD actually working? what...?

  • @NateGomes Just because they're good at I&E and are veterans, doesn't mean their playing-while-marching ability is that great. Keelan Tobia isn't center snare, and he's a veteran and KILLED at I&E.
