That is apsolute crap I have never heard of any group which by religion or culture kills their own daughters. Hinduism is an old religion which abhors killing any living creature. Poverty kills people in India not culture.

Do not make an exception as rule. Hindus do not Kill their daughtes !!!. The widows are not burnt. It was an old custom which was prevalent because of Muslim invasions. The widows were targets of Muslim attacks. So know Hindu religion before you speak uor opinion. In Hinduism there are lot of Goddesses and respected

It's not the religion that causes female infanticide in India. It is the ridiculously extravagantly expensive weddings the brides family has to pay for, according to tradition. If a very poor family has one daughter they will push themselves into extreme debt to get her married. Think if they had two. That would kill the parents. India needs to STOP the extravagant weddings that push families into debt they can't repay. Stop the extravagance and you'll see female infants survive more and more.

Not all tribes in India are Hindu. I've read a lot of the Hindu texts, killing is definitely not something they do. It is a very broad religion/belief system, but unless the tribe is devoted to some angry or murderous god (which, I never learned there is such one, but I could be wrong), they were probably a tribal religion/cult, not Hindu.
