Here is the promotional video of the ATC 6x6 14 ton military truck, this was the culmination of a joint venture between Terex Corporation (American Truck Company) and Tatra a.s. of the Czech Republic.

@terran698, that is exactly the reason why the Tatra design concept has the suspension system working in downward travel and not upward travel like all other trucks. All you guys from America know about is road trucks, anyone who knows anything about off-road trucks and understands the Tatra design concept will confirm it is the best system bar none, that's not me talking but everyone I have met on the Dakar rally and Europa truck trialling would agree.

@FFKK27, I have to admit that I have stopped reading the Tatra news magazine because it became too full of Capt Ron's bullshit.

@DiggermanNo1 , in official Tatra magazine from June 2010 (on page 3) is written that on Eurosatory 2010 was presented a prototype of ATX6. I think that it is still under construction (they are probably rebuilding Tatra 815-7 to ATX6 for U.S. army).

@terran698, you really know nothing about off-road trucks. U.S. military doesn't use this suspension because all military vehicles must be "Made in USA". But Navistar Defense made a deal with Tatra and they built Navistar Tatra ATX6 / ATX8 for U.S. military (same vehicle as Tatra 815-7). So, U.S. military will use this suspension.
