  • Crosby is gone but who's singing the high harmonies?

  • @MrStratocaster1949 It's playback. Gene Clark returned for three weeks, mostly to help promoting The Byrds "Greatest Hits" album by doing a few TV-appearances.

  • David Crosby is seem to be missing from this group, any one notice?.

  • @loneowl7 He'd just left the group. Gene Clark stepped in for some three weeks, but then he left, too.

  • If an extraterrestrial ever landed near me I run to them singin' this tune, and hitch a ride off this stinkin' rock.

  • Welcome back Gene Clark

  • @MrStratocaster1949

Crosby. They're miming to the record.

  • Put this one on a gold record and then launch it into deep space.

  • This one should have gone to Easy Rider (as Jack Nicholson debuted his old football helmet while riding on the back of Fonda's machine).

  • I think alot of the musicians looked bummed in these 60's videos cause the "MAN" made them stand there like idiots while they played their records in the background. It made them feel like they were selling out. If only they knew the Japanese were sneaking up on them with karaoke machines to put everyone out of work.

  • ever seen a more miserable looking bunch in your life? the only ones having fun are mcguinn (singing his own song) and mike clarke (three sheets to the wind)

  • Gene Clark wrote the majority of the inhouse

Byrds tunes ~ They got rid of Crosby because

they felt he was too political ~ They just

    wanted to make fun music

  • The Godlike genius that is Gene Clark
