@MrFuntany First time I went to Culebra was in a one engine 7 passenger airplane. Landing was not exactly a dream, but was nothing to be afraid of. In fact I have not heard of any landing tragedy occurring in Culebra, From San Juan it is a 15-20 minute flight. It is worth it.

@dquinnc Nope, Puertorricans do not have the right to vote for the President, unless you are a resident of one of t he 50 States. Puerto Rico is a colony, not a State.

Was on this approach earlier this summer. To the other posts, this approach is a bit challenging, but its not something to be scared of (probably saying this because I'm a pilot, but these guys have a lot of experience flying in/out of these small strips). TASTE SOME ADVENTURE PPL!!! PR was fantastic, and so were the "Spanish Virgin Islands"...spent just a day on Culebra and although we didnt visit Flamenco (bummer), the scuba at Luis Peña was more than enough to fall in love with the carribean

I have heard the landing is crazy. I couldn't imagine flying to Culebra. I took the boat out to the island from Fajardo, Puerto Rico and loved Flamenco Beach, amazing!
Cool video, now I know I will not fly in a Cessna, lol.

Ain't that the truth about Culebra!.....been there twice since "discovering" it on the internet.
BEST VACATION SPOT in the Carribean if you want laid back resting.

This is one of my favorite parts of our annual trip! What a rush! One part scary landing, one part so excited to be back in the most beautiful place in the world! Can't wait to be back there in March!
