  • I tell you what though, that thing Jeff does at 2:35 is pretty cool

  • Darren high am

  • @muzzaest1969 Yes--the bassist, drummer and guitarist are Imelda May's band. For Jeff Beck's ROCK 'N' ROLL PARTY: HONORING LES PAUL, May's band was the band used for every song while May only sang on certain songs, but still on most of those performed for both the DVD and CD version.

  • has brian had a facelift??? surely not

  • @chiennoir54 Don't forget blues...

  • @chiennoir54 you know nothing Brian is also playing Swing, Jazz with his Big Band and did some Rock records in the eighties and new wave (Bloodles Pharaos) in the seventies he is also a great singer, banjo and steelguitar player

  • Well, perhaps Beck may be baffled by Setzer's facelift...

  • Beck is baffled by nothing. Setzer is great, but rockabilly is all he does; Jeff plays rockabilly, jazz, volcanic rock, and entire songs with harmonics. Higham is great, as well, but that's his specialty, too. Plus, Jeff seems happy to let anyone else step up and shine and lay back and support them. Not something you can say about his peers for the most part. Clapton and those guys have to work their way up front and try to compete with anyone he's onstage with.

  • Beck seems baffled by Setzer's infinitely better guitar technique. He is certainly no Rockabilly player. Higham meanwhile, just looks on knowing he's the only one been privileged to play Cochrans guitar.

    Best guitarist there..Higham.

  • This is from the Jeff Beck Rock and Roll Party honoring Les Paul! Looks like it was a blast! Wished I was there
