  • After watching this video you just witness why the majority say Hip-Hop is dead..

Where in todays rap, can u find a DJ, that can scratch and work a fader with that much speed, agility, finesse, and precision?

This music, this sound, rocked the house parties and clubs when I was growing up. And now it cannot be found on radio, TV, clubs, parties, ANYWHERE..

When rappers stop using DJ's, that was the begining of the end..

    The good ole' days.. (sniff)

  • yeah,that´s right...the good ole´ days...

  • One of my fav hip hop joints EVER!

  • SICK INHUMANE BEAT

  • Good point ....

people talk about hip hop like it was so pure & creative until diddy lil 50 boy came along & pimped , SNAPped & crunked its innocent neck.

  • I agree

the decline of the dj occurred in the golden age which everyone promotes as the most creative era but the dj was replaced by dat machines causing turntablism to evolve without the mc in that period.

scratching is pretty much extinct from general hip hop unless dj premier or pete rock are producing / remixing.

Most of the poor music released nowadays wouldnt exist if the group /mc had a dj

    to regulate the quality control.

  • When I referenced " The good ole' days "

What I'm really saying is the best days of hip-hop/rap was when groups actually used live DJ's that collaborated with the rappers/producers to enhance the meaning or message of the song. Could you imagine EPMD ' So What You Saying ' without DJ Scratch doing the breaks ? Would you want to ?

  • "The good ole' days"

you must mean the golden age when rappers stopped using DJ's & live djs were replaced by D.A.T machines.

most of the groups / rappers in the top/best lists dont even have a dj
