This video provides all the information necessary to make an informed decision regarding the purchase of a gun vise. Larry Potterfield, CEO and Founder of MidwayUSA, demonstrates not only why a gun vise is important, but also all of the features one should look for when selecting a vise. These features are demonstrated using a Tipton Best Gun Vise which has a multitude of adjustments, allowing for the securing of rifles, handguns, and even break open shotguns. If you have ever needed a third hand while working on a firearm, a gun vise may be the best solution.

  • I'm Larry P, and that's the product I want to sell...

  • I need a vice. Mounting scopes w/o one is no fun.

  • I mounted my scope use the armrests on my sofa. it's more difficult and time consuming, but it's possible. Though, I would want one of those if I had the money and space for it.

  • @Lghtng2 you can make one yourself with 2 vise (not gun vise) that you mount on a wooden plank

  • he wasn't so happy this time XD

  • Larry? Can you do a vidio showing how to clean the barrel on a M1 Garand or an M1a? thanks! Great Vidios!

  • After reading several reviews all have said this thing is overpriced and wish it was made of metal but was better than nothing at all. Does anyone know where I can find a good quality vise or should I give up and go to the local iron shop?

  • at 0:25 Larry has a sleeve on but at 0:26 he has a shirt on

  • He's the wizard of gunsmithing. He's Harry Potterfield.
