I don't understand how this is easier than just buying steak and slicing it? It only takes a few minutes to do it properly.

With the way ground beef is processed I would not even consider using Ground beef for jerky It just sounds like a great way of getting food poisoning.

@gmlgm The large white thing is a dehydrator and the little thing is a jerky gun...Just like the thing you use to make cookies.

Grind you own lean meat that's cool...Very lean ground beef is the trick...The kit seasonings from Nesco work great. Good luck...
