The Las Conchas fire near Los Alamos, Jemez Springs, and Santa Fe New Mexico. These shots were taken from the west and south. The fire started from a spark and grew to over 45,000 acres in less than 24 hours.

I'll send the link to some of my fire fighters friends with the USFS and go from there...they may like to use it for the annual fire refresher next year....

I was just out in Santa fe and saw that Pacheco fire (I went up in Hyde Park).
I saw this fire from the airplane as I departed only hours after it began.

@vexedweasel These views are all from the Jemez area. First scene from right in Jemez Springs. Middle section from up on NM 126 on the hill leading to Fenton Lake. Last view on the road to Ponderosa.
