If you worked here in the UK your boss would have broken at least seven different employment laws, how can they get away with treating people like that?

If you are totally innocent, then you should explain yourself to your boss. Basically: "I didn't think you would have a problem about the sodas, eating, break etc. And on the cameras, I swear I wasn't avoiding them." His lack of trust in you is neither your fault nor his. Sometimes clarification is all that is necessary.
