ZBrush 3 - Seemless Textures

Creating seemless textures in ZBrush 3. Dont forget to do a BEST RENDER before you grabdoc and export otherwise you get a thin grey line in the image!!

thanks for sharing. but it could be done in Photoshop by using offset filter (which you can control the amount of the offset, not estimating it by eye!) plus clone and healing brushes much easier and safer.

Indeed ;-) but can you also sculpt 3 dimensional details based on the texture to export as a normal map/displacement map?? The normal map filter for photoshop is fine for basic stuff but occasionally you need a little more control ;-)

What is the "at" key you mention? I cannot find what key scrolls the texture. It's not @ is it? You said it's near the enter key but I cannot find it.

Yes its the @ key at least on UK keyboards, I also here it referred to as the "tilde" key...remember to hold it down and left-click and drag on the canvas as well!!

Thanks.. I since found out which key it is. We call "~" the tilde key in the US and that's what we use for tile-scrolling.. At least in the US. Thanks for these awesome tutorials!

Hey there, maybe someone here can help me out. I'm using Z 3.1 and for some reason I don't have the Transpose tools anymore. When I move, rotate or scale, I have the old style tools with the circles for each axis.

How can I get transpose to work again? I've recently installed Transpose Master, but I don't think that messed it up.
