Houses Ripped Apart by Massive Flood Waters!

Going, going, gone...two lakefront houses were ripped apart by severe surging flood waters across Wisconsin, over the weekend. The lake washed out a third house and destroyed a highway embankment, as well as threating dams. closed two highways were closed in Grant County.
Is this the "500 year flood" as it's been described in the news? A historic hydrological event?

More heavy ran is on it's way.

never build a house near a river. most insurance agencies do not cover NATURAL flood disasters. Only floods inside a home caused by plumbing problems.
