Probably late 1991, cause prior to me moving, I do remember WHDH using the gfx as their main open. Guess it serves as a transition period from Michael Randall to Frank Gari.

The bumper on the News 7 teasers is the "Shock" song from John Tesh. I thought by this time, they were using Gari's WFSB theme. (As I knew for years, based on what the NMSA said.) Was it used on the opens, if not when did WHDH actually start using it. I thought it was '91, but apparently that might not be the case). I thought the noon newscast only used the Tesh theme.
