Is this board a new version or a US version as the one our groupnhas is much more basic. I think Martin might have prototyped it first. I really like the game it does feel like an engine and you have a chance to adjust. The best bit is that you can see you should not drive the Market too hard or everyone else gets a cheaper ride.

Thanks for the review. I enjoy Martin Wallace, but I really appreciate his more minimalist visual design. This board looks incredibly busy and will probably be the reason I don't buy this game outright.

I'm not a huge fan of Martin Wallace, but Automobile is one of his best (along with Age of Steam / Steam). Great game and just enough randomness to make it interesting, while there is a lot of diverse and meaningful choices that really brings out the "fun" in a great economic simulation game.

Nice review... interesting, but not enough for me to go and buy... think I'll pass on it and wait for a more theme based money game.

@gagawolala Although Tom has produced the majority of the reviews on The Dice Tower channel, other people also do reviews as well. If you have a listen to the podcast you'll see there's quite a group of people involved in The Dicetower - though with Tom clearly as the person bringing everything together.
So don't be surprised to see a few other faces every now and again ;)
