Ninja is definitely a senior noncom and the underpants is some new officer.

because you were in the Army?
and i met lots of douche bags like this:
waiting for the system to "catch up with them" makes for a long career.

This is why I left the Army after eight years as an officer. What senior raters think, not mission accomplishment or Soldier welfare, drives commanders' decisions. If officers loved their Soldiers half as much as they feared their senior raters, the Army would be in much better shape. Though this is satire, it is pretty close to reality. And, why do I think the officer is a battalion commander and the ninja is an operations SGM?

Dave -- you're partially right, except the ninja was the support operations officer. Life isn't that bad, though. In twenty years, Doctrine Man only encountered one officer like that, and the system finally caught up with him a few years later.
