I am setting up some old computer hardware I have around to test the effects of mineral oil on it. The ultimate goal is to have a high end pc submerged in a tank with a cooling loop to remove heat from the mineral oil and a phase change unit chilling the processor and video card to sub zero temperatures.

  • @karnak99 I'm using my phone to take video, which has the mic facing me, and it picks up my breathing something terrible, i feel like i need to hold my breath while i take videos.

  • The nose breathing into the mic is hilarious.

  • @Zake4688194 No overclock yet. The older equipment in the tank right now doesn't have options for overclocking but it's a 3.2ghz prescott 65nm pentium 4. Once I have let this old set of hardware sit in the mineral oil to verify it doesn't have any long term negative effects, I will set up the larger tank with a stronger pump for the mineral oil and try some newer hardware that i can overclock in it.

  • lol whats the overclock
