Each day the people come and walk up and down looking at our dogs. They watch the pups and the young dogs playing but walk by the 'old guy' sadly they don't know what they are missing by not looking.
Just because a dog has passed its first flush of youth should not put you off homing one. Older dogs are wonderful they are wiser, more secure, playful, house trained and yes full of energy. They love to walk, run, play and most of all will happily sit with you .
Mossie came to us in a terrible condition he was chained up and had lost most of his teeth trying to chew the chain. He was a mess and on top of that was totally afraid of the most common things dogs take for granted, but Mossie was lucky as his special angel spotted him on our web and gave him a second chance, but most of all gave him something he never had A HOME. So please read Sian's story of life with Mossie, and the next time you are in our sanctuary or even thinking of getting a dog think of Mossie and Sian.
