Wall hung O-scale train layout in 12 X 12 ft room, 6-1/2 ft off the floor. Four lines with 8 trains. Trains run on tracks with automatic blocks installed by myself, which keep them from running into each other. This is my first attempt at filming without any editing skills. It can only get better.
PS I named the big Godzilla/lizard 'Bob.' He is not destroying the Lionel caboose. He is holding it up and out of the may so my 1930's Marx trains can race on the tracks beneath him. Bob is a very special part of my railroad. He keeps everything running as it should. At Christmas he wears a Santa cap.
How do the Marx M10005 and the red Mercury stay on the track while running so fast? The cars are weighted down with lots of heavy magnets.
Thanks for watching,
Chuck

  • awesome nice layout and trains

  • @fordsuckbigtime Many thanks. The layout is kaput, as I had to tear it down when I moved.

  • That looks like more fun than a human being should be allowed to have!

  • @TheZepmeister

  • Chuck,

    this is really cool.

    enjoyed watching it.

great idea with the magnets in them cars.

tinplate cars with magnets on a steel track.

take the curve's a lightin speed and they stay on the track.

    might have something there chuck

    ya pal

  • The speed controls were preset before filming. The trains run themselves without any adjustment of speed controls. The camera and tripod were set at nomal eye level for train viewing.
