This recording of "I've Got A Feeling" made it all the way to #2 on the Canadian music charts in 1970. Unfortunately for the band, the record company when bankrupt before the only album the band recorded could be released. The Sands of Time were billed as the "Youngest band to tour Canada" as can be seen in the promotional photos shot in various locations in this video. Four members of the band re-grouped as Bentwood Rocker and all of the band members are still performing today as singers and musicians in a variety of musical projects including a number of "Sands of Time" Reunion charity concerts. A Sands of Time Reunion 2001 CD was released to coincide with the concerts and are available at www.bentwoodrocker.com

In Cape Breton this song reached Top 20 in May 1970. Recorded at the time where
British bands Vanity Fare,White Plains & Edison Lighthouse had hits as well as another Canadian group Wishbone or US's Grassroots. This song has the same sound, great hook, horns and production.

To me they sound like the Grass Roots or any of the British bands fronted by Tony Burrows.
