OH I get it ! We Do have an accent ... when I say my last name is BELL they think i'm saying BEAL ...

Your accent doesn't seem way off from how most people in California sound. The only differences I can see is the "A" sounds and the "O"....for the most part it seemed the same to me..

i talk just like you! one thing us clevelanders apparently say weird is block. i said block once to someone and they thought i said black!

Haha oh my god you sound exactly like me! I'm in college in DC and I didn't even realize I had an accent until I left Cleveland. I've actually had people not understand what I'm saying because apparently Clevelanders slur a bunch of their consonants. Even this guy from Youngstown makes fun of my accent! Everyone makes fun of me/cringes when I say "mom" or "pop" or "oh my god." Every time I say "mom" someone screeches "mAAAAAAm!" Cleveland gets no love. Keep repping for us!

@ic3sk83r Yes actually, it is haha. I'm from Cleveland too but living in DC and everyone makes fun of me.

@ic3sk83r haha when reading the first part of ur comment I said "room" and "broom" out loud to see how I say it (cuz I'm from Cleve) and then I read the rest of ur comment about how it really sounded and realized I was actually saying "rum" and "brum" too, maybe it is a Cleveland thing.

Also, I keep getting told that I say "room" and "broom" strangely... I'm told that I say "rum" instead of "room".... and "brum" instead of "broom"..... Is this part of the Cleveland accent as well?? lol
I talk just like you!!!! I'm from the Cleveland area and I think you should keep making videos. You are awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's funny to even think that we have a "Cleveland" accent. Apparently there's an Akron accent too and some people catch it in a few of the words I say. I only lived in Akron for maybe 2-3 years but I say "outside" like "out-soid." If that makes sense lol. I once heard from a teacher that newscasters often come from the midwest because we have the clearest or least accent-y accents that can be understood by the majority. Thanks for sharing!
