  • @shaft870 Agreed there. Besides, the guy owns the car, so it's not hurting anyone else for him to slap the V8 in there. That little Supra is making mad power with that V8, too.

  • @z33twinturbo 590LBS that was without the turbos manifold the 2Jz is a pig long and high the LS3 is short and low and 418 pounds 700+Hp without boost with low boost torque and Hp numbers to compete with all out 2Jz bombs low boost ='s relyability

  • @sirlonghair My buddies massive 4.5" core intercooler weighs less than 30lbs, my big ass 7175 billet precision turbo weighs less than 15lbs. Wastegates are a pound or two and most manifolds are less than 20lbs.

    130 lbs for a turbo kit is way high because nobody making real power uses the oem cast bullshit.

  • @z33twinturbo 2jz 590 pounds without turbo inter-coolers or manifold dry ls3 418 pounds wet ready to roll LSX 460 pounds wet ready to roll so it is more like 130 pound lighter minimum and being shorter and lower weight distribution also counts

  • @sirlonghair To me less than 50 lbs is worth the drastic increase in longevity. A full closed deck iron block is way way way stronger than an open deck aluminum block.

  • @z33twinturbo a 2jz without accessories flywheel or lubes 450 pounds Ls3 complete ready to run charge a battery and all is 418 pounds a 2Jz is a mammoth engine compared to the lightweight Ls3 displacement is just a hole holes weigh nothing now weight is the real detriment to an auto also an Ls3 is smaller shorter&lower making for better ballance and this LSX is still only 460 pounds.so lighter and can make much more power and last much longer that is efficiency 

  • I'm sorry but I love a Supra with a V8 because it shows how imports and domestics are both cars, its not one or the other. This is beautiful, I like the Supra the way it is but this is cool. And I love how people start pissing and moaning about this thing having a V8.
