Dr. Laura Schlessinger

Here is an interview with Dr. Laura on Larry King: The video runs 4:03 (min:sec), and it first aired on Dr. Laura Schlessinger's radio program in August 2010. Dr. Laura, as she is known, received a call from a black woman named Jade, who is married to a white man. Jade complained that some of her husband's friends and family made racist or racially sensitive comments to her, and her husband did not object. Dr. Laura believed that Jade was being overly sensitive and pointed out that black comedians on HBO say the n-word repeatedly. In mimicking these black comedians, Dr. Laura said the n-word numerous times throughout the call with Jade. Dr Laura's comments caused a firestorm of controversy, and she resigned as a radio talk show host.
