You should probably credit the song. I too heard it on newgrounds.

the coolest all-terrain bot I've seen

im thinking about getting the vexplorer and see what i come up with, is it pretty easy to assemble and all that crap?

No prob, my brother has vista. He doesn't really do much other than schoolwork, but i can tell it's really slow.

yours should have won, i don't understand why that other dude with the long name won, he barely changed anything with the VEXplorer, you actually modified it
Good Job

Thanks! I think the CemBot guy did well, I made a prediction that the cleaning bot or him would win.
However the dinosaur guys, I was both surprised and a bit angry that they won second. But they are from a nearby opponent FIRST robotics team so I guess it's just my competitive side lashing out.
Nevertheless I am very happy with what I got, if I could do it again though I wouldn't pick a stair climber. There a headache and then some.

Hi, Thank you, the hardest part of this challenge was making a complex design with a limited number of parts. I'm used to having lots of Vex parts at my disposal. Building a stair climber isn't that hard, with proper planning and an understanding of the physics behind it. If I could do it differently, I would try to build a smaller bot. The average stair step is about 1ft long (figures right), my Vex bot, due to size is unable to climb such stairs.
Good luck, nice meeting you!

so did you only use the standard parts that came in the kit or did you order more?

The standard kit plus $100 in Vex parts including S&H.
