I've lived in a subarb of Chicago my whole life and before a co-worker showed me these videos I never knew people kept dogs chained. This has really opened my eyes. I hope we can change this for the better. Thank you for what you are doing. Can we get a show like this on TV? It would be so much more interesting than the reality shows we have and would actually do some good for the world.
We've heard that since this video a St. Louis Television News picked it up and did a story questioning why current laws were not being enforced and put the Chief of Police on the spot. Hopefully this will improve conditions for some of these dogs.
This is an undertaking that is well-needed to raise awareness. It is a great thing and a great idea. Its just so sad. If I can get my dogs off the couch I am going to make them watch it too!
Watch this & then please tell me how human beings can be called the "superior" species! Dogs would never treat us this way. How can we justify doing this to them? I hope this video will get the exposure it deserves, but I'm not optimistic that that will do enough good, as far as changing people's attitudes. Mostly I think this world just plain sucks for animals, & I despair of it ever changing.
This is so heartbreaking!! I will watch (teary eyed) every day and support in any way I can! Thanks for all you do for chained dogs! Kristi Alexander, Chaska, MN
Extreme temperatures, every kind of weather, fleas, ticks, mosquitos bearing heartworm. These poor babies! Thank you for the important and life-saving work that you do! Sue
