You have to get infrount of the car and then it will stop,you scan it.its easy to do!!!:)

First you have to consider some things, first you have to be in robot mode to scan. Then try to keep a sensible distance between you and the car you want to scan. Use the L and R buttons on the DS to pan the screen. You should see the marker like the one when you lock on a target. And one more thing: not all vehicles can be scanned.

how do you scan the car at the start of the game on ds i try to keep the scanner on the car so it wont spin to mutch but it just says loking on and doesnt scan it plzzz help me i need to know how to scan.=(

I beat the autobot version, AWESOME GAME! I only need two more vehicle forms (transport and skydive) to get all the forms. yay!
