This is an interdisciplinary field where students take courses in marine biology, marine chemistry, marine geology, and physical oceanography. Upon completion of core courses, students can select an area of emphasis that may include marine biology. Students who major in Resort Tourism focus on developing the skills necessary for managing hospitality or tourism service organizations in the context of a resort destination area. Career options include hotel/restaurant manager, food and beverage director, event/conference management, resort/cruise industry recreation manager, and tourism marketing just to name a few. Glad you liked the video. We do not offer dance as a major or minor at this time. However, we do have musical theatre as a major in which dance classes are required of those students. We also have a dance team which you can audition for and we have a dance studio on campus where you can take dance classes for elective credits. Some types of classes offered are ballet, tap, modern, jazz and others. Hope this helps!
