I thought this was going to be about artists singing empty love songs and talking about how much money they have, how much beer they drank or how much of a slut they are whereas in the past you didn't have to struggle to find a decent song about peace and love, protesting something, spreading beliefs. Music isn't about spreading a message anymore. The record labels are run by businessmen just trying to find something that will sell. Something generic, electronic and predictable. But whatever.
I think it's a travesty that, yes, they have found out exactly what we want to hear and feel in music, yet have not found more meaning and reason for that music.
