@Evenhandedview LOL. If you have crap sound source, why you buying pro headphones?
This is like buying corvette with engine from grass-cutter.
You spend 200$ and get sound like 30$ headphones.
Pro headphones must be used with a good DAC, amplifier and lossless audio. Instead of iphone with mp3s.
Also your iPhone and any other mobile device can't pump more than 16-32 Om.

@severgun Why? If someone happens to have an iphone they can't also be a musician or need studio quality headphones? Shut up already...

@MrVampirekaname that makes perfect sense if you are not making any music. If you are only listening to music, then exaggerated sound is just fine. If you make music, you don't want the headphones to make the music sound better than it is because you need accurate reference. Studio headphones are meant to highlight any audio imbalances or bad mixes

i tried the beats by dr dre at best buy and well they sounded great excellent noise cancellation and high pitch vocals and of course good base in other words you get what you paid for if you want to be cheap then blame yourself if you pay 100 bucks expect it to be okay but not omg amazing. im getting beats.i dont care how much i have to pay i just want good sound and base when it is needed.

love that guys voice...

These are heavy and durable because they're studio headphones. They're not exactly meant to be on the go everyday headphones.

How long can that cord stretch?
