I chose the E3 Diamond Fire Spark Plugs to put in my 2001 Millenia today, and with that in mind, I figured that I'd show everyone what the difference is between the latest in spark plug technology, and the type of spark plug we've been so used to for all these years.

The E3's distinct diamond shape hole provides a more complete burn cycle, better gas mileage because of the more complete burn, a smoother running engine, and a longer lasting spark and spark plug life span. The E3 requires no gapping and no extra tools to fit it into place, other than a spark plug socket, and ratchet, and a little time.

Also in this video, I show what I did to my Millenia today to get rid of a CE light and a slight misfire in the engine.

  • I need to do that. Did you have to remove anything to get to the rear three. I'm off today so please respond if you can. Great posting alot on the Milly. I had a 3000GT with those plugs and it ran better until rain/hydroplane/highway barrier=total. I'm lucky to be alive. Love my spunky but obviously slower and more luxurious 2002 Milly. Thanks and respect!

  • @Duagn1984 The rear 3 spark plugs (cylinders 1, 3, and 5) are not that hard to get to and I didn't have to remove anything. In my case, I removed nothing to get at the distributor cap either, which was kinda painful since I do have a bit of muscle on me. Your best bet with that is to remove the front part of the air intake assembly to gain good access to the distributor cap.

  • how much do they cost ? where can we get them are they at regular auto parts stores ?

  • @oneoleqt They are $5.99 a piece at Oreilly Auto Parts. So yes, you can get them in regular auto parts stores. Places you can't find them are like Auto Zone. Pep Boys, Checker Auto Parts, and I think Canadian Tire, just to name a few, all carry them.

  • Hey my engine kind of knocks when I rev my car at around 4000rpm, does anybody know what could be the problem? I have 114K miles on my car.

  • @datboiwes3 What kinda car do you have?

  • I've heard nothing but bad things about these e3's. Stick to the Autolites or NGK's. Its a marketing scam if you ask me.

  • Piece of junk and I removed 6 of them from a 2003 Chevy Impala today.Caused a missfire and the vehicle ran like shit.Missfire was gone after replacing them with AC Delcos.

  • @Bishop5k : Ok: Basically the law of physics states that fire needs 3 parts to exist [fuel, 02 & heat]. The intensity of the fire/combustion is dependent on the proportion of these parts and should even one part be absent, the fire won't exist. Combustion = fire, so the more heat [spark], the faster the burn. Due to valve timing, if there isn't enough spark generated, then the mixture will get ejected before completely burning off.

  • a spark just ignites the fuel and air mixture..nothing more, even a weak spark ignites the fuel and it burns completely....no such thing as a better burn or more efficient, or better fuel economy...use your brains for 1 minute please =)

  • @GrandPrixGTP02 Would they fit in a 2 stroke atv? Right now I am running an ngk and was wondering if they foul or anything like that...

  • bosch makes everything great except spark plugs they are HORRIBLE!!!

  • @datboiwes3 Knocks=Good chance the loose nut behind the steering wheel needs to be replaced.

  • i have ngk iridium plugs in my car :D

  • Ya there great cough cough go look at my video of my e3s that only have 3.000 miles on them and tell me what u think

  • ....they also fail to mention about the testing conditions. the competition car is always ran with the a/c on max, radio blasting, defoggers on, and anything else that will deminish output to the wheels. their car on the other hand is run with everything off and sometimes even shorter belts that skip the power steering motor. its all snake oil guys. sparkplugs will never make a difference unless you go way beyond your oem output or havent changed them in years like jazzstar747.
