Belarus's presidential election was marred by opposition protests and numerous arrests. President Alexander Lukashenko spoke with euronews' Alexei Doval.

euronews: Mr Lukashenko, can you give us an update on the condition of one of your rival candidates, Vladimir Neklyayev, who was severely beaten. Where is he now? The pictures of his injuries have been seen worldwide. Do you want Belarus to be judged by these pictures or do you plan to change something?

  • Lukashenko is cool, he does appear like a dictator because of out of context quoting about his view on Hitler. Very convincing West, well played. However it failed.

  • @DarkprinX2500 Lukashenko: Too much democracy in Belarus

Apr 21, 2011 at 20:24 | Associated Press MINSK, Belarus (AP) — Belarus' authoritarian leader on Thursday claimed his country was "so democratic, it's just nauseating," adding to concerns that a crackdown on political opponents after disputed elections and a subway bombing that killed 13 people is set to intensify.

  • @DarkprinX2500 Ever heard about Norway and Sweden?

  • The management of Rights and Democracy over the past few years has been a mess. But meanwhile, Belarus is not a democracy. The latter situation matters more, and if it takes Rights and Democracy to spread the word, I’ll take it. Sannikaü, the leading opposition candidate for the job Lukashenko has held since 1994, remains imprisoned; his family isn’t sure where he is. Lukashenko’s violent, corrupt, economically and morally bankrupt government is still there. Shame for Europe!!

  • @Scandi66 yes that is correct i have never been to a democracy .. neither have you or anyone on this miserable pathetic planet.. because it's a idea that has never been truly established anywhere .. good day senior pig

  • @DarkprinX2500 He, he, he. You are a funny pig. Never been to a democracy? I have experienced myself that secret police from Lukashenko followed med day and night when I was tourist in "his" country. What are they afraid of? That a foreigner steals all the whores in Minsk? LOL

  • @Scandi66 democracy exists not in the west that promotes it .. you slob

  • @DarkprinX2500 He, he, you are just a person without education, and you know nothing about democracy. You will end up yourself like a looser in this life.

  • Lukashenka is a fat swine. He is ready for slaughter. He is just buying time.

Independent country, NO, He wants people to depend on him and be his slaves. He is a weak, pathetic NOBODY. All he wants is power and money. If there is one person in the world he should fear is me. Once he or his henchmen come near me, he already sealed his death sentence.

  • @XpEAnUTBuTtERsUckSX They are dictstors with respect to the richest, cheaters, stealers their slave MEDIA BUT NOT to the FOLK! That is the difference !
