Dr. Bill Adkins ~Crumbs Instead Of Cake: The Problem With Misguided Theology

In this powerful message, Dr. Adkins teaches us how a Syrophencian woman asked Jesus to cleanse her daughter who was stricken with unclean spirits. Jesus said: "let the children first be filled:for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and cast it unto dogs." We often settle for less than God wants for us. Jesus was trying to elevate the woman from gathering crumbs underneath the table to sitting at the table and eating her fill. Jesus never desired us to be beneath the table taking the leftover crumbs but to have life more abundantly that we could ever imagine.
