Joe Bonamassa NAMM 2009 Acoustic Guitar Part 1

This is a video of Joe Bonamassa and Alex Skolnick doing a blues jam at the Yamaha booth at NAMM 2009. I was introduced to Joe's music about 6 months ago. He was one of the nicest and most talented musicians I met at NAMM this year. Yes, I realize I am not a champion videographer, but he is a bad ass, so hopefully that makes up for it. Part 1 is primarily Joe talking and noodling on the guitar. Also the first video is really bright in the beginning, but it goes away.

Look, we all have watched lots of guitar players ( Great ones). And several if not all of Joe's. Can we all agree Joe Bonamassa is just plain SICK on guitar.

What a lot of folks don't notice is his right-hand picking technique, especially when he's using the pick and fingers 2, 3 and 4 to do banjo rolls and chicken pickin.  Simply amazing. He makes it look so freakin easy.
