  • Those Centipedes are just a color form of Scolopendra polymorpha.

  • Yeah, I suspected that initially, but had it identified as a Scolopendra viridis by several other sources, so I describe them by locality usually.

Regardless, S. polymorpha makes the most sense.

  • Great vid bud!

  • one question, are vietnamese giants equivalent to hong kong giants ? They're both scolopendra subspinipes right ? And they're found in both hong kong and vietnam ?

  • he likes digging :p

  • Yes the pede does need more room. The enclosure should be at least twice the length of the pede.

  • that larvae kicks like a mule ffs

  • There was a lot more mealworm there than the centipede thought. Also, dont you think that the pede could use a little more room?

  • well mealworms have stingers and painful bites and can burrow..... just like the centipede!

  • lol no way a mealworm can win

  • wow thats a lovely centipede youve got there

i like how the mealworm thought it could get away but just as he was about to get under the soil(or whatever you have as the floor) the centipede caught it!
