I'd also stock up on some whole wheat flour and yeast.

Might be a good idea to sock away a ziploc bag full of Taco Bell sauce packets, mustard packets, and yes soy sauce packets (get them from the Safeway chinese food counter). These packets would be good portions for a bug out bag.

the little camp cylinders can have other important uses with a little enginering... ya know what i mean?.... dont forget that a 6 to 1 ratio is a purposefull / honorable departure...

Outstanding, Mike. You gave excellent examples for the "food repair kit". One of my all-time favorites is a powdered spice known as "Spike". It's a little bit of everything and it rocks!
Folks should remember that "food repair" supplies will make for valuable barter goods in a post-SHTF scenario. They are cheap to stock up on and will prove very valuable for trade. No doubt, sugar and spice will be good as gold!
Love your vids, Mike. Keep 'em up, please.

I think that propane gas can's alsways have a slow leak. I remember having some in the end of last summer then this summer having to buy a new one.
Maybe u can seal them with covers.
I think the on off valve is not enough to hold gas in over a year.

Yes, It would get old quick...boredom beats starvation any day. A good adage is store what you eat and eat what you store..Remember though "fresh" foods may not be readily available, and you may end up with a diet change. Kids and older folks are sensitive to this. I'll trade you canned hams for the tuna!
