Something no one ever mentions...in eqoa there's no zoning. You can literally walk from Qeynos to Freeport... or Grobb to Permafrost without any zoning

I've played WoW, FFXI, etc. When i left those games i never felt like going back to them.

It's been 4 years now since I've played eqoa, and I'm buying the cd tommorrow.

Selling my xbox 360 and all my games and finally gonna go back to EQOA. It's still not dead and the server Castle Lightwolf is still up and running with plenty of people. I've played many games and many MMO's but they just don't have what EQOA gives for some reason...

EQOA nostalgia definitely kicking in. I feel like dusting off my good old PS2 for another run at this game. IF I remember where I put it... or which cousin I may have givin it to... lol this game has caused me a whole lot of missed homework, lack of sleep, and skipped practice when I was in ms-hs.

This brings back memories. I use to love playing this game back when I was still in middle school. It was my first mmorpg and never had any other experience like it. Cant believe 8 years has passed since I was a barbarian in Halas not knowing where to go lol.

se7en i don't think so pal! You never played before i can tell lol! This game was and still is very very big! Just because the graphics are old does not mean the code could be compressed into browser based garbage! Frankly i find that comment quite offensive so kiss my ass lol!

oh and fucking retarded ass noob review man! did you play past beta? This is obviously ancient! Making mention of typeing with the controller is just fucking stupid! No shit it sucks! Thats why it supports most USB keyboards! And if i roll a war i know im stuck playing a war captain obvious!

frontiers made the graphics way more bearable and added a ton of features like the auction house, 60 cap and epics and new zones. They never released another expansion. The PS2 did not support the HDD at launch of eqoa for one, and two no one bought it when FF 11 launched either! So PS2 just didn't measure up 100 percent but shit! People still fuckin play! Eqoa FTW!

EQOA FOR LIFE!!! no one will take away my memories of this game...first ever mmo i played...and i will never regret it =D
