Love your videos, but I usually recommend to my customers that they leave the waistbelt on, slip one shoulder off like you do, and just spin it around to the front. That way the baby + carrier is still attached to your body while you free the arms to be able to pull the baby up and out. More secure like that.
I saw in your video it was a little dicey to be able to get your baby out with the carrier dangling and unattached.
Beco really should give you some serious cash for doing this. I have watched all your videos two or three times each and it's what convinced me the butterfly was the carrier for me. Now, $151 later (gotta love sales tax) I'm waiting for DD to wake up from her nap so I can try it out for real! Thanks Mama!
how old is your child. Mine is a year old. what carrier do you prefere? I have a mei tie that i bought off of ebay but I am kid of scared to use that on my back/
She is a year old in the video, also. That carrier is a beco butterfly. You can use a MT on your back, but read the directions for your carrier and get someone to help you the first few tiems.

Just my two cents! Thanks!
