yeah i saw that. i'd really like to see them but for me the cons far outweigh the pros.
pros:
see "the time"
cons:
accessibility (i live about 3/4 mile away)
cost (i remember when the event was FREE)
amongst a bunch of morons (you excluded of course, lol), with the unfortunate chance of having to "throw down"
eh, i just may go yet!
either way, post here with your feedback, and if i go, i'll see if i can capture some vid on my Bold with a 16gb card inserted and post it.

8pm Sunday is showtime for Morris and the boyz....and I WILL BE THERE! You can tolerate the street scene for an hour or so...and can escape it all with the music!

oh man! thanks for the heads up. now i just have to decide if i want to deal with the a-holes who now frequent the junction. i've lived in the neighborhood for over 30 years and i don't think i'm too keen on the recent gentrification of the immediate area, but that's a whole other subject.
i'll check out the schedule. thanks again!

holy crap, the sunset junction??!! i live right up the street and i missed that shit??? DAMN! if anyone woulda told me they would be playing there i woulda told them they were crazy. i guess i need to start looking at the musical line-ups in the future.
i wonder what strings were pulled to get them to play there? very interesting.

Morris Day added show-manship to his unique style of entertainment. I think on a greater scale, that variety of persona in the music industry today, is very much lacking. It's most unfortunate:(
Jerome was more than a dancer. He is part of the group and that chemistry he has with Morris cant be replaced - dummy

I see Morris and Jerome as one performer.
Like Laurel and Hardy...you can't have one without the other...
