made my day,to find this.on the winter solstice,to top it all,how sorted is that!!!!!!!saw this band many times in the 80,s,still got my copy of 3 track demo, the peace tape as well,so there you go..........
Lord, I dread to think how long ago it was since I last saw this splendid band! I can't swear to it but I think it was in Burton-on_Trent? I've hoarded a precious tape of Silent Dance all this time :O. Great to find out that I can at last get hold of more of their entrancing music .
My favourite band of the mid-80s. Their gigs always brought a beaming smile to my (and many others') face. Saw them innumerable times at the Marquee, often two nights running, and drove several time to Milton Keyes, St. Albans, Northampton and Aylesbury to see them. Remember sitting with Andy, Sandy, and Marc outside the Lyceum when their gig was cancelled and they'd turned up personally to see and chat with the fans. Thanks for the amazing memories, easily some of my happiest.
It's great to see Solstice back. Like Longdog I saw them many times at the Marquee - so uplifting - from gorgeous songs like this to dancing with strangers to Chicken Train. Thanks, Andy!
Aw gawd bless you Andy. I remember seeing this lot at the Marquee in the early-mid 80s. Guardian of my soul always used to bring the house down. They were always supported by a band whose name eludes me but I remember the keyboard player used to put tape over the i of his teisco keyboard so it read Tesco - happy days. :)

Re the CD question, yes, of course, there's 2 or 3 Solstice albums available on CD, and v good they all are too.
