What happens when Ruby Weapon is turned into a frog?

Here, we find out!

Well, it seems that Ruby can use any attack he wants when he is a frog. I was surprised by this when I first saw it, hence "Wait, what?". And is it just me, or was the Ruby Weapon frog bigger than the Barret frog? And was he taunting me at the end?

I had a hard time turning him into a frog; I thought that making the "toad" attack ignore status defence would be enough. It wasn't. Ruby is immune to all attacks at the start of the battle, so I had to stare at a lot of hex bytes and change his AI to remove the immunity to magic.

Something I'd like to see is someone fighting Ruby and Emerald at the same time. x3 I don't think anyone did it yet.. *Keeps checking*

Unfortunately, that can't be done. Not without much more knowledge of the game than we have at the moment.

There's a limit to six enemies of up to three different kinds in any one battle scene at the same time. Since Ruby has two tentacles and Emerald has four eyes, it would be impossible to fight them at the same time :-(

@KudistosMegistos I see. I was affraid of that. >.< Just like in Kingdom Hearts 2 where you can only hack so many bosses in with each other. Can Diamond be put with Ruby?

It might be possible. Ruby's tentacles are identical, so it's only three different kinds of enemy in one scene and four different enemies in total.

However, since they're both rather "unusual" battles, there might be other complications. I'll have a look into it.

The same goes for Diamond and Ultimate.
