What a great woman she is, to have given so much love to all those mistreated big cats! I have always loved cats (my largest was a mere 20 pounds of crazy Manx) and they are intelligent animals who deserve better than to be pushed to extinction and/or abused by idiots who think it is "cool" to have one that they cannot look after properly.

Oh, yeah, plus: I like the way she was ravaged by animals in "The Birds," then ended up protecting them.

"Those civil servants get up early." What a tart sense of humor. And, while I'd heard about her ad-hoc lion refuge, I didn't know how committed she was to it. Such a strange star: Famous, ultimately, for one, or essentially one, performance. But such an excellent performance. And her work in "Marnie" isn't half bad, either. And she seems pretty cool. Here's TO ya', Tippi!
