@Bassisnevertooloud DPCM is a format of lo-fi sampled sound. Basically, you load .wav files of a certain (low) quality into it and you use it like a drum set.

what does the dcpm do??
-
Your patches have been such a great help over the years. I never thanked you. :) :) :)

@Rami2145 make a new instrument and go to the dpcm saples panel. You will see load use that one. go to the directory where you store ( .dmc ) files. you have to map them to a key after you load them do this by selecting that key and maping that sample to the key. make sure they are dmc not dms samples. I will pm you some .dmc samples rami.

@Tristancorrales I did try to dl some samples, but when I went to the folder, it showed empty...even though it was full of .dms files.

@Rami2145 You will need to either load a (pcm) .wav file. anything 16bit or 8bit . the louder the cleaner. any sort of ambiance turns into a static sounding growl. you will have to go through a lot of trial and error to get any nice drum sounds. another (easy) way is to use rips from various Nintendo games which had clean samples @explod2A03
aka. Bucky has an archive or you can go onto 2a03.free to check out some .dmc samples I also have a .zip of some on there. i hope this was informative.

What do the letters in the volume column do?

it is hex numbers.
the hex numbers go from 0-F (0-15). Basicly instead of 10 numbers there are 15. so A=10 than 10= 16 and so on. I hope that answers your question. thanks for taking time to check out my music.
