I can so relate to this!! I hate when ppl say that I have to be fair skinned to be mulatto. I don't even tell ppl im mix because life just seems easier to deal with.

ah, i hate those race check boxes so much . but i choose "african american " box, because i was raised embracing that side. celebrated kwanzaa, martin luther kind parades etc. hah, they should really make a "all of the above" box XD

Thanks for the video man this video helps brighter the light on mixed/multi racial ppl .. im black irish and indian and i could pass as and light skinned puerto rican ... Full raced people i think sometimes dont understand how hard it is to be accepting of all your cultures when one of your races wants you to just claim them #mixed problems

must black people in america are mixed. most, around 80% have some trace of white blood from their slave owners raping their women slaves, and some have asian or native american ancestry because all colored people were put in the same neighborhoods, and the coolie slave trade.

It's obvious your mixed. People are just ignorant and assume that to be mixed, you have to have light skin, and straight/curly hair. The fact is that most Black Americans are already mixed, so they assume that you look Black to them. But you compared to a pure West African where Black Americans descend from, you do look mixed.
