The Hellfire Hymek D7076 Departs Heywood, East Lancashire Railway during the Home Fleet Gala/Nightrider event on Saturday 17th March 2006. D5054 is on the rear of the train providing Steam Heat.
Superb machines..... if only the commuters out of Paddington nowadays realised they were still travelling on Diesel Hydraulic rains ( the class 166) and that British rail wasted their money by scrapping these hymeks well before their use by dates i woner how much more of a protest their would have been about fare rises!
I loved the diesel hydraulics and indeed the class 37/47's.I am stuck on working on class 66 these days. Not the same anymore.
Nice vid.

Great video. I visited D7076 amd D7096 at Old Dalby when they were rusting away and its nice to see D7076 restored.
