The Hellfire Hymek D7076 Departs Heywood, East Lancashire Railway during the Home Fleet Gala/Nightrider event on Saturday 17th March 2006. D5054 is on the rear of the train providing Steam Heat.

  • I loved the diesel hydraulics and indeed the class 37/47's.I am stuck on working on class 66 these days. Not the same anymore.

  • Superb machines..... if only the commuters out of Paddington nowadays realised they were still travelling on Diesel Hydraulic rains ( the class 166) and that British rail wasted their money by scrapping these hymeks well before their use by dates i woner how much more of a protest their would have been about fare rises!
